The Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) offers a highly attractive Tuition Grant Scheme to international students admitted to full-time undergraduate programs at autonomous universities, including NUS and NTU. Under this scheme, the Singaporean government subsidizes a significant portion of the student's tuition fees (often reducing the cost by 40% to 50%). In exchange for this substantial financial subsidy, international students must sign a Tuition Grant Agreement, legally committing to work for a Singapore-registered company for three years immediately upon graduation.

Standardized tests (SAT/ACT) are generally not required for Central/ISC Indian boards, but strong scores can act as competitive validators. English Proficiency (IELTS/TOEFL) required if English is not your first language or medium of instruction.

Application Window: Varies by curriculum, but typically closes in February or March (e.g., March 31 for Indian Boards).

NUS looks for institutional impact. Did you represent your country? Did you win a national hackathon? Did you publish a research paper? Standard "participation" in high school clubs does not move the needle.

Perfect Your Prerequisites

Submit Olympiad/JEE Results

If you have top national rankings in India (like the JEE), submit them as they heavily validate your academic prowess.
